Membrane

Epoxy

Furan

Applications

  • Especially suitable for linings in aggressive chemical appliances such as reactors, autoclaves, cooling towers, and gas-cleaning acid towers

  • Extremely high resistance against acids, alkalis and solvents
  • High temperature resistance

Lead

Applications

  • Pressure tanks with sulfuric acid

Key Characteristics

  • Not a completely inert metal, but not very reactive
  • Corrodes very slowly
  • Good durability when exposed to air and to many aqueous solutions, even in some fairly hostile environments

Polyurethane

Applications

  • Flooring in harsh, heavy-duty environments
  • Crack-bridging
  • Waterproofing
  • Used in chlorine and chlorine dioxide environments

  • Thermal shock resistance

  • Low curing temperature capability

Rubber

Applications

  • Pressure tanks with hydrochloric acid

Vinyl Ester

Applications

  • Chlorine and chlorine dioxide environments (the best choice for these two products)
