Replacement of a corrosion-resistant lining in an Alum Digester – Water treatment facility

After the existing damaged face course was removed, the surface of the remaining two layers of brick underneath was cleaned and prepared for relining with corrosion-resistant brick. At the bottom outlet, old brick was carefully removed and corrosion-resistant brick was installed around the existing Monel sleeve that was left in place.
